Nick Hunter

President - nick hunter

Nick has been at ANU for many years and is the backbone of the club. He has been an Australian Representative as a Lightweight and coached some of ANU's finest rowers to International Regattas. Nick still enjoys rowing in local Canberra regattas, and is very busy making sure the club runs well for our members. 

Justine Riordan

vice-president - Justine Riordan

Justine took up rowing in 2010 and graduated from ANU with a degree in international relations in 2011. Justine was club Secretary from 2012 to 2014, Vice-President from 2015 to 2016 and Secretary again from 2017 to 2024.

Sarah Connor

captain- Sarah Connor

Sarah learnt to row with the ANU boat club in 2017 while studying at the ANU and has rowed with the club ever since. This is her third year on the committee. Sarah is a coach with the Novice squad and is also involved with the club’s Introduction to Rowing program. 

Adrienne McKenzie

Adrienne McKenzie

Adrienne was first enticed into a rowing boat in 2005 and has been hooked ever since. She loves being on the water to see Canberra’s beautiful sunrises, even in the cold of winter. Adrienne was Club Treasurer from 2009 to 2016 and has been again since 2018 and is coordinator of the Club’s ITR Program. In 2012 she was made Life Member in recognition of her contributions to the Club.

Liz Blower

secretary - Liz Blower

Liz first took to a single scull at the tender age of 10, and has since rowed through school and university in Sydney. She moved to Canberra on 2020, and has tried to adapt to it's freezing winter mornings on the lake. She is a firm believer that fun socks make the boat go faster. Liz is one of the Club's Member Protection Information Officers.

Stuart John

Vice-Captain - Stuart John

Stuart is a former rowing administrator who decided to see what all the fuss was about - more than four years later he's still out on the lake with the men's squad and leading the charge to post-training coffee. You'll hear Stuart commentating at local regattas or competing in para events as one of ANUBC's many para rowers.

Caitlin Grant

Caitlin joined the club through the ITR program in 2022 and has enjoyed where rowing has taken her including rowing in the Belgian Small boats championships in 2022. Caitlin is passionate about growing community in the club and seeing members thrive.

Alex Moylan

Committee member - alex moylan

Alex joined ANUBC in 2018 straight out of school. With club support Alex represented ANUBC at the 2019 Nationals where she went on to make the u21s Australian team as a lightweight rower. Alex has represented ANUBC in campaigns to Women’s Henley, Holland Beker, Henley Royal Regatta (part of the first crew to represent ANUBC at this Regatta), and in 2024, the Head of the Charles Regatta. Alex is passionate about bringing high performance rowing opportunities to the club, a lightweight rowing advocate and is always down for a post-row coffee and chat.

Catherine Khan

Committee Member - Catherine Khan

Catherine started rowing with ANUBC in 2019 as a member of the Senior Women’s Squad. She is now a member of the High Performance Women’s Squad. In 2024 Catherine represented Australia at the World University Championships.
